Somi's Fight Against Leukemia

Somi is a beloved friend to many across the globe.  She was diagnosed with leukemia at 25 years old in March 2017.  She has been in and out of the hospital since then until now.  Somi has been through three different types of chemotherapy, many bone marrow biopsies, and she has even completed the process of the bone marrow transplant.  It has been quite the journey but her story is not over!

Many of you may know that it is not easy for a loved one to be suffering from cancer.  Somi's mother will be taking 3 months of unpaid leave from her two jobs to ensure that Somi is cared for during her recovery.  Somi will be going to the hospital daily so her recovery is monitored carefully.  However, Somi lives an hour away from her hospital!  The costs of gas bills, medical bills, and missing work can be a huge finanical burden.
