Sky Korbut's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Sky Korbut, a 15 year old high school student of Southridge High School was involved in a severe crash in Beaverton, Oregon on April 27, 2022.

Out of the 5 students invovled in the crash 2 passed away at scene and 3 students are currently fighting to recover from this catastrophic event. Sky was transported to OHSU (a trauma hospital) with life threatening injures and is in critical condition.

Sky is currently held at OHSU's ICU unit, breathing on a ventilator. Yesterday (4/28) he had surgery to rettach his intestine and small intestine. As I am writing this today (4/29, 10:30am) he is in surgery to hopefully correct a spinal fracture caused by the crash. Later today (4/29) he will have a 3rd surgery on his right femur as it also sustained a fracture. His injuries are very critical and will require more surgeries over a number of weeks.

The purpose of this fund is to help my mother-in-law, Sky's mother, and family with related expenses, as there will be a very long road to recovery ahead.

The funds provided will go directly to Alecia Delarosa (Sky's mother) and her husband Michael Korbut (Sky's father), and transferred to their personal account.
