SKRIPCHAs Poetry Book Lotus in the Slush

Sol Adventurers' mission is to empower individuals to discover their gifts and share them with the world.  We discovered a prophetic, dynamic poet coming out of Montego Bay, Jamaica,  known as SKRIPCHA, the lyrical word healer. For the past 2 years, Sol Adventurers has been working hand in hand with this inspiring, prolific poet to get his works in print and share his transformational journey with the world.
So, this is where you come in.  We are done editing the book and are finishing up the cover.  We are giving you the opportunity to obtain a pre-sale copy of the book as well as other special gifts that will be available exclusively to you based on your contribution amount.  This will enable us to cover the cost to print and ship the first run of the book.  Also, for every book purchased 10% will be donated to Sol Adventurers Foundation, Inc. to help inspire others to discover and share their gifts.


Now... without any further delay I would like to share some profound verbiage from SKRIPCHA regarding,        
                            " A Lotus in the Slush."

I started writing poetry at the age of 14, but this particular piece of work truly started taking root during my years of incarceration.  The seed was being nurtured during those years and many works evolved but were not yet committed to paper.  When I first met Ahnk, Phenomenon, a fellow poet the blossoms started to unfold as he encouraged me to document my works and preserve them to be shared, which in turn encouraged him to pick up the pen.  Even at that time, I never knew that I would perform these works until the summer of 2008 after hearing Royal African Soldiers perform at a gathering called Binghi in the Bush.  As the lotus commenced unfolding, this idea of compiling my works into a published book started impressing itself upon my consciousness.  I wasn’t sure who would help pull it together until I met Rosey and shared my needing and wanting to manifest this book.  She willingly stepped in to help make this vision a reality, as her purpose is to help others share their gifts with the world.  Now my lotus is fully coming into bloom and rising like a Phoenix. 


 This piece of work is merely me expressing myself through some life experiences. I am hoping that it will inspire and encourage budding poets and creative writers to connect with the lotus within them and allow it to bloom, so they can share their fragrance and beauty with the world, as we are all here to add our colors to life’s rainbow.
