Skerries Rugby Club - Funds Appeal

We all saw COVID-19 bring normality to a stop in mid-March. Our team closed our club promptly, ensuring the health of our Rugby Family came first. That was an easy decision to make.

Now, four difficult months later for everyone, our club faces difficult decisions.
We have a large gap in our finances from the shortened season, cancelled fundraisers, the bar closed, increased COVID-19 costs outlay, and deficits that will come from the much-restricted season ahead.

All this comes as we push hard to get back on our feet, get hundreds of players of all ages back on our pitches, and get the clubhouse reopened.

We are proud of our club’s near-century standing as a pillar in our local community. That history included many challenges, and now we face another.

We appeal to all, where possible, to donate to this fundraiser. All proceeds go directly to club finances management.
