It takes a village!

Hello beautiful people! My name is Halie and I've had multiple friends and family members request that I start a GoFundMe page for extra financial support as I continue to navigate through these medical challenges, diagnoses, and obstacles that have surfaced over the past year. I love people and pouring into others and it has always been a challenge for me to ask for or receive help. I look at people as people and recognize that everyone is going through something at any given moment, every day of their lives. It is my belief that life is what we make it and I choose to have a positive perspective and outlook on life! Recently, it has been very humbling to recognize that others are open and willing to help and to acknowledge that we are better and stronger together. I see that I do not need to struggle through these battles alone and I am so very grateful for the many beautiful people that fill my life with light, love, kindness and care.

I've already undergone a spinal surgery and numerous other procedures, I attend multiple weekly doctor's appointments and have an upcoming double mastectomy that will require two major surgeries and 12 minor procedures over a 4 month span. With the current state of my health and numerous appointments with 17 specialists at 2 hospitals, I've had to step down from teaching and have been unable to maintain a full-time scheduled job. I will be out of work for at least 6 months through these upcoming procedures and could use some extra support with medical bills, household maintenance, my three kids activities and school costs, and transportation after a recent automobile accident.

I'm also very happy to barter and trade skills for work, so we may pour into one another. I'd be happy to help with child care, tutoring, personal training, meal prepping and planning, or any other tasks, errands, and special events that could use my services. I am not a victim or marter of my circumstances and will continue to walk with positivity, joy and gratitude for each and every day that I have been granted.
