Jesse's Recovery Process

When given the opportunity to give back, whether it is financial, time or with laughter,  the Avila family is always willing to lend a helping hand! This is why we are reaching out to everyone to pay it forward and return the kindness to the family at their time of need. 
       On Friday, May 18th, 2018, Jesse was setting up his station, for the annual "Cop on Roof", which raises money and awareness for the Special Olympics. Jesse is a dedicated officer for the Burnham Police. He is always willing to raise as much money as he can for the event.  He is always trying to make it fun and entertaining for the passerby.
         Unfortunately,  as Jesse was stepping down the ladder, to help another fellow officer, the ladder buckled under him and Jesse fell 12-15ft down to the ground.  He shattered his vertebrae and underwent surgery. Due to the severity of the fall, surgery and post therapy, Jesse will need constant care for his needs. He has a loving wife and son, who need all the support we can contribute.  Any contribution will help ease the financial burden that will incur with such accidents. Hopefully we can help one another reach and/or surpass this goal.  Si Se Puede!
