Simeon’s love

Ryan and Amanda White expected their baby boy Simeon on July 2 but tragically their child did not survive the birth. Amanda was rushed into an emergency c-section after the baby's heartbeat was lost on the internal monitor. The placenta had detached from the uterine wall due to a tear, causing the baby's blood to go into Amanda's abdomen. Despite the doctors' best efforts, there was not enough time to save Simeon. Amanda was then rushed into additional reparative surgery. After 2 1/2 hours in surgery we thank God that Amanda is recovering and doing well. The doctors and nurses have been wonderful and informative. We know they did all that they could. Although Simeon did not survive his love was known here on earth. The Whites' family and friends waited paitiently for this sweet soul. We are all thankful for the time he spent with us. We are giving everyone the opportunity help our friends get through this tragic time. They will need help these next few months getting over the financial burdens that this carries. God bless Amanda and her family as they navigate these most difficult times.
