Support Shombrieka

Shombrieka has been experiencing intermittent medical issues over the past couple years. Recently being forced to take an unexpected leave of absence from work due to them. This resulted in the loss of her only source of income and has presented some financial challenges. She has used all of her savings paying her expenses including food, rent, utilities and taking care of her sons, DeVonte and Ayden. On Thursday, August 2nd Shombrieka was admitted to McLaren Hospital for health issues. That Friday, she was transferred to Sparrow where they determined she is suffering neurologic disorder paired with an auto immune disease. Saturday, August 4th Shombrieka began to have periodic episodes that looked like seizures leaving Sparrow's Neurology team no choice but to sedate her for her own wellbeing. More than a week later, we still don't have answers or much progress but we do still have Shombrieka. According to doctors this will be a long road to recovery but hopeful that the treatment plan established will allow her to recover. With all that she's going through the last thing we need her to be thinking about when she comes through this trial is her financial situation. For the past month family have stepped in and taken on these responsibilities but with the medical prognosis and timeline for recovery we are asking for your help . This is our plea to the community of people who know and care about Shombrieka and her boys.
