In early November of 2020 our mother Michelle Whitney-Delbonifro underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor.
With biopsy results arriving several days later showing that it is a Stage IV Glioblastoma. The reality is this type of Cancer is the worst of the worst and we really don’t know how much time we have left with Mom. Post surgery Michelle has no feeling in her right side and is coherent but has a very limited vocabulary. We are starting this gofundme page to help raise money for all the medical costs, rehab, and treatment she will need over what are sure to be some challenging months ahead. As of now it is our hope to get Mom home as soon as possible and get her the treatment she needs and wants. In order to do that we really really need some help.
A LITTLE ABOUT MICHELLE:
For the last 23 years Michelle has been the owner of Main Line Therapeutic Massage and Spa in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Starting off in a small location on Eagle Rd. and moving later to its current location on Darby Rd. Since the beginning of Main Line Therapeutic Massage, Michelles life has been dedicated to helping others feel better. Thousands and thousands of people have passed through the doors at MainLine Therapeutic. It was always Moms wish to connect with each person on the levels they needed which in turn contributed to the health and well being of entire communities. Her light always shined bright, the same as it does now and you can imagine now how much we want to do everything we can do to help make her feel comfortable and loved.
We cannot express in words how impactful and meaningful any and all donations are. For all of us this has been a difficult year. Just know that you are appreciated and loved.
