A little about me.
I am in the British Senior Judo Squad, fighting in the -78kg weight category.
I started judo when I was 9 years old at my local judo club in Basingstoke, Paul Jones School of Judo. I then progressed to Osaka Judo Club in Aldershot. After a couple years at Camberley Judo Club, I then got selected to be Full Time in Walsall training at the Center of Excellence.
My achievements:
Junior World Bronze Medalist In Bahamas
Slovenia Senior European Cup Gold
Lithuania European Cup Gold
Glasgow Senior European Open Silver
British Champion -70kg & -78kg
Scottish Champion
Welsh Champion
My campaign:
Being a full time athlete with very little funding ( what I do receive goes on to rent and food.) I work part time in my local Weatherspoons, I am now struggling with the self funding competitions I have committed to attend over the year. These competitions are critical as I need ranking points to qualify in my progression. My sights are set on 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. To get there I need to train and comepete with the best world wide.
In the upcoming months I have Slovakia European Cup, Malaga European Cup. These are all self funding trips. On top of the trips I self funded at the start of the year.
Any contributions I recieve for my campaign will help with flights and accommodation to help me reach my goal. It would be greatly appreciated
