About Sheena:

Sheena grew up in Bluffton, IA and graduated from North Winneshiek High School before attending Northeast Iowa Community College. She has lived in Decorah for the past 20 years and has a teenage daughter, Livia. In November 2022, Sheena joined Helms Funeral Home and is attending DMACC for Mortuary Science while working as an Associate. Her goal is to be a licensed Funeral Director.

Sheena has touched many lives in Decorah and the surrounding communities through her 14 years in elder care/social work, serving residents of Aase Haugen Senior Services and Barthel Eastern Star/Arlan Falk Assisted Living. She also assists community members with end-of-life care and planning (Full Sirkel Solutions) and was a long-time member of Decorah’s Alpha Sigma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority.
