Shaving it off to help save my wife and make a difference
Donation protected
Hi all, I will be shaving the hair and the BEARD OFF, so I want to raise some money for Myeloma Australia and Canteen Australia in the process.
This all started when I promised my beautiful wife Aamu (Aarmy), who has been battling Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer since 2019, that if she went into remission, I would shave my hair and beard off. Well she is in remission, so after some much needed dental work (Thank you Dental Boutique), I am now ready to keep to my word, to shave it all off, and raise some money and awareness in the process.
Why these two charities?
Well, Myeloma Australia because it is the only Myeloma specific organisation that helps support patients living with Myeloma, helps fund future research and create awareness. They are a non for profit organisation, who assist in advocating for better patient care, outcomes and treatments.
Canteen Australia is also close to our hearts, as they have helped support Kelsey and our family through our family’s cancer journey. Helping us to create everlasting memories and have fun. Cancer can take its toll on the whole family. Canteen have been amazing at providing various invaluable care and support over the last 12 months, so we want to give back and show how much we appreciate all their hard work and dedication to help young people affected by cancer.
I will be splitting the raised funds 50/50 and donating to each organisation. I will shave my head on the 9th of November, so please if you are able to spare a couple dollars or even just share this page that would be greatly appreciated.
Together we are stronger and can make things great happen.
Thanks
