Hello friends and family! I will be traveling to Africa in few months on HIV Africa 2017: Uganda and Kenya – Medical/Healthcare, Orphan Care, Relief and Aid Distribution Mission Trip.
I am honored to be joining our medical team on a mission trip to serve and help children suffering from HIV/Aids. We will be there June 24, 2017 - July 11, 2017. When my grandfather founded the Orange County Rescue Mission in Santa Ana many years ago, his mission was to serve the least, the last and the lost. I will continue to do what I can to follow in his footsteps. Blessings.
What the Mission Trip Will Be Like:
Draw closer to God! Reach out to Africa! With over 3,000,000 people in Uganda and Kenya living with HIV/AIDS almost 200,000 of them are children! Add to this vast number those adults, widows, and orphans who are affected and we will have almost touched every person living in both countries. The challenge is so great! There are so many!
I will be joining Bruce & Joni Sonnenberg and Dr. Kathy O’Connell OB, GYN, on the adventure of a lifetime with 18 days through Uganda and Kenya in Eastern Africa serving the huge needs of those living with HIV/AIDS. I will help them provide a medical examination for each person we meet, emergency medicine, clothes, goats, shoes, blankets and lots of hugs- all in the love of Jesus. This journey will touch my life and change the lives of those we serve! So please donate and be a blessing.
