Donate to build our Community Learning Centre in Tanzania

We are Loreto and Ayubu, part of Maasai Volunteering Solutions. We started to build our Community Learning Centre to focus the traings and help we are managing to our Maasai Community in Engikaret, Longido, Tanzania.
Supporting the construction of this Community Learning Centre you will be contributing to bring and deliver practical knowledge to the Maasai Community.
We have 32 villages, that means 32 families of different size, which in total there are about 2000 people.
With the Centre each family will be able to generate new incomes and improve their "boma" village and the environment of the community. They already send some kids to school and few of them university, but the effort is not enough, we want to complement this knowledge for them to find or create better opportunities.
You will change families life. The Centre will give them autonomy to:
- Provide job opportunities
- Give knowledge for next generations to create businesses
- Give a space to teach to produce own food at rany season
- Give knowledge to learn about nutrition, enviroment, health, so the life can be improved
- Space for cultural meeting where Maasai people and visitora can share and learn from eachother
Loreto is industrial engineer that has worked on project development and Ayubu is leader in the community, being recognized for his leadership on solving problems and the one has been bringing new opportunities to the community with his work and experience in town.
With our experience we started to build the Community Centre to make true this dream. The money will be used for:
- Workshop and shop construction for training and sales of products from the community
- Buy material
- Surrounding enabling for visits and demonstrative plots for trainings
- Getting electricity and water
