Hello everyone, my name is Danielle and this is Apollo. He is a 2 year old German Shepherd Collie mix. Apollo became a part of my family when he was just 10 weeks old. From the time that he joined me, I felt an incredible connection between us. He has a knack for knowing how I'm feeling and how to make me feel better. His intuition is unparalleled. Just about a month and a half after I got Apollo, I was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. When my therapist suggested I get a service dog, I immediately began training Apollo myself. There wasn't all that much that I had to do when it came to training, he was a complete natural. We've been on quite a journey over our two years together. Apollo feels his calling as a service dog and is so excited to start his training. Recently, my PTSD has gotten extremely difficult to manage on my own. I need Apollo to be by my side at all times but he has to be trained for that. For anyone who doesn't know, service dog training is extremely expensive.
