Serenity's Treatment

Serenity has been struggling with excruciating back pain for months this year, missing heartbreaking amount of school and regular life. She had a cyst surgically removed in late May, but this gave only temporary relief. Finally, the doctors discovered that she had a mass near her sacrum, and pathology reports revealed a malignant tumor.
