Chaug-Ming Lin passed away on June 13, at the age of 62, after a tough battle with nasopharyngeal cancer. He was the first of his family to attend university, (National Taipei University) where he received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1977. He was a fiercely protective father and loving husband who often referred to his wife as his “wei yi de ai” (his one and only love). As his daughter, Rita, remembers:

 "My dad was diligent and determined in everything he did, including fighting cancer. He took everything in stride. We remember when he bought a wig just in case he lost his hair to chemo. He put the jet black wig on his head and danced around the living room because it just looked so ridiculous. He then swore he'd never use it."

Chaug-Ming will be dearly missed by his wife, daughter, and son, Eugene.

This GoFundMe will help the Lin Family cover funeral and burial costs. Any remainder will go into an investment fund that Rita set up for her little brother.
