Help Send Stasha to the Gypsy Vanner Nationals!
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Rhonda and I'm so excited to be helping fulfill a dear, young girl's wish to show her beautiful Gypsy horses at the Gypsy Vanner Nationals in October in Texas. Many reading this will already know Stasha's story of living with Essential Thrombocythaemia, a rare blood cancer, that requires daily chemotherapy. Now 17, Stasha was first diagnosed at 10 years old. She also has idiopathic intracranial hypertension which has required 2 brain surgeries to help preserve her eyesight. Stasha is an inspiration to many, and she is a talented young horse woman with a passion for her 'babies'--the Gypsies. Showing her horses is one important thing that truly helps Stasha stay positive and seems to impact her physical health positively as well. It's all connected, right?!
Stasha's family is unable to afford the cost of getting Stasha to the National Gypsy Vanner Horse Show this year along with all the necessary expenses that accompany showing her 2 Gypsy horses. Thankfully she has a horse trailer they can stay in while at the show, so there is no need of lodging funds which can be very pricey. Here is a list of just some of the expenses for Stasha to be able to fulfill this wish:
Class entry fees: ($70 each class X 14 = $980)
Office fees: ($38 per horse = $76)
Stall fees: $175 X 3 = $525
Bags of Shavings for stalls: $9 each X 8 = $72
RV fee: $172
Gas: $500
Won't you join me in helping fulfill Stasha's wish soon? Her entry fees must be received by September 25th, so time is of the essence. We are asking anyone interested in donating to do so by September 20, so there will be plenty of time send in entry fees, etc. Any portion of the required expenses donated will help. Maybe you can only donate funds for a bag of shavings. That's a big win in my opinion. We have been receiving many generous donations for Stasha in such a short time, and I appreciate everyone who is donating or sharing the link to help us reach the goal. Thank you for your support of Stasha!!!
