Hello! I'm opening this page to take donations towards supporting sending Nyantic to EVO Japan 2026 to compete in GBVSR.

This year, I have picked Nyantic to go to EVO Japan 2026.

Nyantic has excellent results, both online and offline, winning the majority of NorCal's locals, as well as admirable results at his few out-of-region showings. He plays Beatrix, Sandalphon, Djeeta, and more at a very high level, and it would be a treat to see this style against the best in Japan.

Outside of the game, Nyantic shows up to as many locals as he can and is a source of positive vibes for all of them, spending a lot of his time teaching the community and making us laugh.

I believe bringing him to EVO will help him showcase the game at its highest level and grow him as a player. Beyond this, I believe this would be an enjoyable trip from a social aspect, as he'll be traveling with the rest of his region.

I (Kamome) am a GBVSR Commentator from NorCal. Previously, I've helped send Vermillion to EVO Japan 2025, TortillaFlipper to AF2025, RobertRorio to EVO 2025, and have contributed a lot to making Slashback a welcoming space for fighting game players who are traveling. I travel to a lot of majors and believe offline majors are some of my favorite experiences in fighting games, and I love giving that experience to players and figures who have a positive influence on the community.

Regardless of the outcome of this fundraiser, he WILL be sent to EVO Japan. I'm looking for about $1500 to help a bit. With the funds, I will be booking the flight and accommodations for him.
