For our champ, Sebastian

Hi, my name is Mariann Robalino and I am fundraising for my nephew, Sebastian Miranda.

On February 6, 2024, Sebastian was rushed to the hospital for altered mental status. He was dealing with a cold a few days before this. His health quickly deteriorated and he was admitted to the ICU. He was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis with complication of obstructive hydrocephalus. Within hours he was intubated and sedated. He had emergency brain surgery and an ear surgery. He also developed further complications of strokes in his left hypothalamus, globus pallidus and ACA territory as well as infectious vasculitis.

Our family was told this all started because of a sinus and ear infection. Sebastian, or Seb as we call him, continues to fight for his life. He’s undergone several medical treatments and procedures. We anticipate a long road of recovery and lots of rehabilitation. The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help my sister with the hospital expenses and rehab expenses.

Anyone that has met Seb knows how much of a sweet and brilliant kid he is. He is so fun, loving, and outgoing. We miss him so much and pray every day for his recovery.
