My mother, who has never smoked, is battling Stage 4 lung cancer. We are in need of help for her treatments, co-pays, and other related medical bills/expenses. If you can donate, we would appreciate it so much! The last thing I want is for my mother to have to worry about how she is going to pay for all her medical expenses.

Hello! I'm reaching out to ask for help! This is so hard for me to do, as I've always done everything on my own. Here is my story: On September 18, 2019 I was in a car accident around 10:00 PM that evening, which I totaled the car. That morning around 10:00 AM my spouse passed away with oral cancer. When the accident happened, the paramedics showed up, and took me to the hospital. They performed about 20 x-rays, and found I had a lung nodule in my left lung. They advised me to keep an eye on it, and have it checked. I went to the doctor within a few weeks. During the next several months, I had a PET scan, Bronchoscope, CT-scan, and a Biopsy. It was confirmed on Sept 18, 2020 the lung nodule was positive for lung cancer. That day my world turned upside down. My life has never been the same. On October 28th, 2020 I had a third of my lung removed. During the procedure, they removed 8 lymph nodes, and 1 out of the 8, came back positive for cancer. I then have had numerous toxic infections, fluid in around my heart, and crucial pain. I'm currently on Tagrisso which is target therapy for non-small lung cancer. There are so many side effects which I'm currently experiencing. During this treatment, I have to undergo so many scans. They include, Breathing test, Echocardiogram, CT-Scan, x-ray, and Pet-Scan. The latest scan has determined that my cancer has spread to my brain, and a reoccurrence in my lungs close to my heart. These scans all come with a co-pay. I am also needing to start radiation treatment soon for my brain and I'm asking for any kind of help as in my most recent scan, they now have found a spot that is growing in my brain. They confirmed this is cancer. If you could please help with anything, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I would like to request prayers. I do know prayers to work.
