My dad Scotty Edward Jackson, was murdered 01-13-2024 delivering firewood when a drug addict beat him with firewood. Raising money for funeral expenses. He did firewood on the side to make extra money, and with Texas getting cold weather he was making sure everyone was stocked up with firewood. He had just called me at 7:56pm that he was fixing to deliver wood and I told him be careful. Little do I know that’d be the last conversation I had with him. I didn’t find out till 01/15 at 1 in the morning that my dad had been murdered. If you can’t donate just send a prayer for him and our family. Fort Worth Police say a naked man beat 51-year-old Scott Jackson to death in front of a home as he was delivering firewood.

The 27-year-old suspect, Christantus Omondi, is now in jail and charged with murder. Police say Omondi was stayed at an Airbnb across the street and came outside acting aggressive Saturday evening.
