Scarpaci Family Cancer Support Fund
Don protégé
Michael Scarpaci has been valiantly fighting against terminal colon cancer. His family was recently told that he has 4 to 11 weeks to live.
Mike is not one to ask for help. Neither is his wife, my sister Lorrie Scarpaci, who has been by Mike’s side since the age of 16. Lorrie recently stopped working and took a leave without pay. She feels that she is called to be at her husband’s side when he dies.
Mike and his family have been battling cancer for over a year and their financial resources are low. Lorrie has decided to stay home even if it means losing whatever she materially has. She has taken a leap of faith – trusting that God will provide. She realizes that she cannot be in two places at once and courageously has chosen to be with her husband the final days of his life.
I realize this is an especially difficult time to ask for support during the pandemic. People are hurting all over the world right now. I also know that people in need are ambassadors for God. In other words, those who are not too proud to ask for help when it is needed, provide us with opportunities to interface with God in the here and now. With your help, Lorrie will be able to be at Mike’s side until the end.
Thank you for all of your support and prayers,
Joseph, Connie, and Family
