Master Sawyer has made his entrance on Wednesday, November 12, 2018. The handsome little guy is doing quite well, after a scary arrival. Somehow his cord managed to get wrapped around him, complicating his delivery and prompting an emergency C-section. Even still, he was unresponsive for three minutes, but the little fighter's heart regained a healthy rhythm and he and Momma are recovering quite well.
Given the complications yesterday, his arrival caused additional expenditures including the OR, Surgical staff, anathesia, emergency C-section, medication, NICU, nursery and L&D expenses. Health insurance will only cover a fraction of these bills and so Lindsay and I are asking for your help in any way possible.
Most of you know our own story of our daughter, Ophelia. The joy and excitement we share with Thomas and Regan, as well as the a moment of paralyzing fear, wondering what would be the fate of their little one. Thankful only to God, He has decided that the world gets to enjoy the company and influence of this remarkable little boy.
As we enter into the holiday season--particularly a season of Thanksgiving, we are asking you for help; let's work together to express our own thankfulness for new life and the joy and inspiration it brings.
This fund raiser is private and confidential. Thomas and Regan have not asked for assistance, nor do they know this Go Fund Me even exists. For that reason, we are asking for discretion...specifically that we work together not to allow them to find out until they are able to make a deposit of the funds raised here.
