Cancer Survivor

As many of you know, my sister Michele Pickett is currently in the fight of her life.  On October 2012 she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, subcutaneous T-cell Lymphoma).   Through God's grace and mercy, and with the constant support of family and friends, she is beating this. Her mind is strong and her spirit is stronger.  However, the strain to meet financial obligations is a difficult one.  Since  her diagnoses  she has been out of work, and has been in and out of hospitals due to complications of chemo therapy. Currently, she makes several vistis to New York for  doctors' appointments  at Sloan Kettering.  Needless to say, the expenses associated with this disease are racking up, and becoming a weight too heavy for Michele to bear alone.  In order to help Michele financially, we are doing a fundraiser to offset some of the financial burdens directly associated with her battle.  Please support our efforts.   All donations will assist with the cost of doctors’ visits, physical therapy, travel to and from Sloan Kettering, and medications.  No gift is too small and every penny contributed will be greatly apprecitated.
