Many of you know my beloved pug Winston from his inclusion in the popular Photoshopped images I post on social media; especially those in support of 99-seat theatre. Winston has worked tirelessly (as much as a pug can work, I mean) to support the arts in our community and to bring joy to those around him. He is more than a dog, he is an ambassador.

Now Winston needs your help.

He has been diagnosed with some serious (but highly curable) medical problems which require surgery. I've already spent thousands of dollars of my own on vet bills, but the procedures which can cure him are beyond my resources. If Winston has ever tickled your funny bone or touched your heart through one of my illustrations, I beseech you to contribute what you can to keep a uniquely humane (if not human) soul among us.

I get asked to contribute to these campaigns all the time and while I try to give whatever I can, I know how hard it is to come up with any extra cash. Anything you can come up with - even as little as five dollars - would be deeply appreciated in the fight to save Winston's life.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
