Phoenix Down For Caitlin Gallagher!

On June 27th, 2016, we learned of a great tragedy that rippled through the social media network.

"Our beautiful talented Caitlin Gallagher has been in a devastating accident. She is currently in a medically induced coma for a few days. She sustained severe injuries and unfortunately had her foot amputated. Please pray for her recovery. She will need all the support we can give. "

The aftermath. 

Through trialing times - She has regained consciousness after a medically induced coma, she has been through an amputation of the lower leg, multiple major surgeries
and she is alive.  We are most gratious to be in the presence of this beautiful being, and that she is with us.  

Healing progress.

But her journey to recovery is far from over.

We are seeking donations to Caitlin Gallagher to help settle her life after the fact.  Though Caitlin has graduated from the hospital setting, the dust from the tragedy hasn't quite settled yet.

In the hospital reuinited with her ukulele. 

With a healing flipper, Caitlin is bound to a wheelchair at this time.  With a healing wrist fracture, she is not able to mobilize herself in said wheelchair.   A one-armed wheel chair does exist, but it is not covered by insurance.

The purpose of this fund is to help offset the costs of this and of living. She needs a place to stay, food, clothing -- she was blessed with a life after a horrible accident that could have claimed hers and needs help for daily life needs. As it stands now Caitlin was discharged from the hospital with circumstances where she does not have a place to live at the moment. She is staying in a hotel. This gofundme is to help get her into an apartment to heal, to be able to buy groceries, and to be human again. 

Caitlin is a woman of many shoes (well shoe!). She is more than a friend to us.  So let's help this cat land on her feet (well, foot!) again! She is one of the most talented, beautiful, and wonderful people that we know. She is so positive and has a great attitude about all of this. When we visited her in the hospital a doctor and nurse rushed in thinking something was wrong because our raucous behavior was heard as worrying. It was all laughter and no tears with this one.

But she needs our help.

Caitlin scootin' around! 

The three of us (Alison Devi, Morgan, and Caitlin) with some anime realness sparkles -- just before she was discharged from the hospital. This girl gave us our own concert shredding on the uke despite having a broken wrist and multiple painful injuries. That is the video you can watch above. <3
