Studies and Conservation in South Africa

I am still in need of aid in securing funds for my studies in South Africa and my volunteering with cheetah conservation after my schooling is completed. 

I realize to some, this effort might seem as unimportant or frivolous, but to me it is everything. I want to assist in any way possible to help save a species in the animal kingdom, the cheetah. 

I will be attending The Bushwise School in Mahlahla, Limpopo, South Africa to train to become a field guide starting in July 2025. 

Your donation, no matter the amount, will help me achieve this goal. 

In addition to studying, learning and observing, and then passing the FGASA course, I plan on working with cheetah conservation efforts. 

Cheetah need a lot of land to roam and hunt and mama cheetahs need space where they can raise their young safely. Cheetah cubs have about a 90% mortality rate. Meaning only 1 in 10 cubs will survive.

With habitat loss, aimless capture and removal, and hunting, cheetahs are facing extinction.

I plan on learning all aspects of these animals and their habitat and find an organization to work with to help save them.

Some people have never seen these animals except for in a zoo or the movies. I look forward to creating excitement among children and adults to learn about and protect these amazing creatures in our world. 

Knowledge is power and by teaching those willing to learn and wanting to make a difference, together, we can be a solution to extinction. If I can change one person’s perspective it will be a successful journey. It only takes one.  

They won’t survive without our help.
