Stay Gold Deli has been up and running for years, providing delicious food, positive spaces during the day, and a community of punks, queers, outcasts, and nobodies during the night. The city of Oakland has been targeting them charging them thousands of dollars for other peoples wrong doing, they have gotten many break-ins, getting their ATM broken into, safes stolen, and constant public littering around their premises which allows the City of Oakland to bombard them with fines instead of doing their job and focusing on more important needs than attacking a small business.
