Save Sophie: Beat Stage 4 Cancer!

Donation protected
On the 1st of January 2020, my sister Sophie was diagnosed with breast cancer, at just 23 years old. Just as lockdown started she began treatment and had to begin shielding, meaning she had to go through most of the treatment alone. She went through six rounds of chemotherapy; surgery to remove the tumour and four weeks of radiotherapy. Only 9 months later, we were told she was cancer free!

3 years later, in June 2023. My sister Sophie is now married to Alekos after 8 years together and they have a beautiful little 15-month-old girl called Aria! But unfortunately, my sister has been told that the cancer is back, and it's much worse than before.

The cancer is Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast cancer that has metastasized to both her lungs and she has 2 tumours in her brain. We have been told that the cancer is not curable as these things can't be removed so the only thing we can do is treat it.

Unfortunately, my sister Sophie doesn't have a long life expectancy. The doctors have said that if treatment is successful, she will live from 6 months to 2 years. We hope we beat every statistic going so she has as much time as possible to be the best mum ever to her little girl.

We want to raise some money so Soph, Alekos and Aria can have more options for treatments that may be out there, as we can't sit by and do nothing. We also want them to have a comfortable and happy life for as long as Sophie is here to make the best memories with family. Any money not used will go towards Aria's future.

Anything you can donate we would really appreciate. Anyone that knows my sister would know she's the most selfless, loving, caring person ever and she deserves to have the best life possible. Thank you all so much for your support x
