Save Sammos Life with heart surgery

Hey everyone,

Friends & family will know that my dad (Paul Sansome “Sammo” ) has been poorly for a long time now and things for him seem to be getting worse.

The only answer now seems to be going private to have his double heart bypass redone In order to give him another chance.

The Leicester glenfield hospital have said they aren’t willing to do the double heart by pass again due to the danger it could cause but also in the same breath said that a bypass was the only way forward.

As a family we have said he just cannot go on like this as he’s not even living a life being housebound and sitting in his chair constantly scared to move from the pain. My mum is checking on him throughout the night making sure he is still breathing and it’s a horrible situation to be in.

To see him this way is heartbreaking. He cannot complete any day to day tasks without being in astronomical pain and discomfort. Although he is trying to keep his spirits up, we can see that this is taking a huge toll on his mental health too as he is so worried about leaving us all.

My dad would go above and beyond for his friends and family so I know I needed to do something to help him in this horrific time.

If absolutely anybody could donate anything towards helping get him to private care his needs it would be so appreciated as we just cannot do it alone.

we all just love him so much and want to do anything we can to help him get better.
