Save our Young Leaders Academy!

Hi, my name is Nia, I’m 14 years old.

I will be taking part in a sponsored walk on 17th May 2025 to help raise funds to be able to help keep the Young Leaders Academy going.

I have been attending the Young Leaders Academy for 3 years now. It had had a positive impact in helping to build up my confidence and has provided me with opportunities to help me on my career path. The leadership is great and I look forward to going to the Academy each week.

The Academy is at risk of closing due to funding cuts. This would be devastating for myself and my peers. There is no other club locally that is helping the young people see their potential and believe they can be the best versions of themselves.

I will be walking to help keep the Academy open for the young people now and those to come.
