Most of us have fond childhood memories of wandering the halls of Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum for hours on end. Through the years, we brought our children and our grandchildren to enjoy this amazing institution. From our donations, our own family histories reside within the museum walls.

WTAMU President Wendler and the Texas A&M System failed us and violated the contract agreeing to maintain the buildings. They violated our trust. Their plan is to cut all ties with Panhandle-Plains Historical Society and the priceless collection. It is inconceivable that an academic institution discounted the educational value of the largest history museum in Texas and all it has to offer.

We need to come together and tell Texas A&M System that their abandoning of our museum is unacceptable.

GoFundMe donations will go towards expenses incurred. Most will be for printing costs. Any surplus will be donated for the museum collection.
