Save Low Gillerthwaite Field Centre

Do you want to join the Committee in making a difference? The Committee are raising money in aid of LOW GILLERTHWAITE FIELD CENTRE, and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause, which means so much to LGFC.

Low Gillerthwwaite is a charity that has been established for 55 years. The charity works hard to provide young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunity to experience nature conservation and other outdoor activities.

Members and Trustees of the Centre have worked hard over the years to maintain and improve the buildings and infrastructure of the site.

The charity has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds to bring the Centre to where it is today. The improvements and investments have been carried out with the assurances from Forestry England that a lease would be renewed with a minimum term of 20 years.

This is now not the case, and the Centre is fighting for its survival. Money raised from this crowdfunding will be used to help the campaign to save our excellent Centre.

Over the years, we have had thousands of people through the doors of the Centre and have witnessed the difference it makes in people's lives; we want to be able to continue to offer these opportunities to everyone for at least the next 20 years.
