Our Story

Hello, my name is Anwar, and I am launching this fundraising campaign to secure a safer and more stable future for me and my family. We continue to endure immense suffering in Gaza, especially amidst the ongoing conflict, which has profoundly affected our lives and our future.

The Impact of War and Harsh Conditions:

The war has left deep scars. My sister gave birth to a baby girl, Rassel, in a reality filled with suffering and death. The sounds of bombings and explosions have become a constant part of our daily lives—something no child should ever have to experience. We are also facing severe hunger, a shortage of food and clean water, and every passing day adds more physical and emotional exhaustion to our family.

Skyrocketing prices, high rent, and the scarcity of jobs make life even more unbearable. In Gaza, the situation is suffocating, and the chances of earning a sufficient income are almost nonexistent. We struggle just to survive and meet the most basic needs of our daily lives.

Our education and professional lives have also been disrupted, which is essential for our growth and future. Without stability in education and employment, our future remains uncertain, and opportunities are rapidly diminishing.

Adding to our hardship, my father suffers from chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes, facing a frightening lack of essential medications. The ongoing conflict has worsened this scarcity, putting his health at serious risk every day.

My Brother’s Education and Lost Dreams.

My brother, who was about to complete his studies, saw his dreams shattered when his university was bombed. The destruction not only interrupted his education but also added further instability and uncertainty to our family. We all feel worn down by life, by the lack of security, rising prices, hunger, and the continuous struggle to meet basic necessities.

We are seeking your support to help ease our suffering and bring stability to our family. Every day, we try to hold onto hope despite hunger, exhaustion, financial scarcity, skyrocketing prices, lack of work, and the suffocating conditions of Gaza.

It can also mean the possibility of rebuilding not just walls, but a life full of dignity, stability, and hope that tomorrow may bring something better.
