We are asking for your support on behalf of the Sauer family.  Jeffrey Sauer was reported missing.  His car was last seen in Big Basin Redwoods State Park on March 31st.  Several search efforts were made in the nearly 30 square mile park to find Jeff supported by volunteers, dogs, and local municipalities.  The Sauer family quickly flew from Wisconsin to aid in the efforts, which ultimately lead to finding Jeff, on April 20th.  


With the deepest pain of their entire lives, they shared the dreaded heartbreaking news.  “We lost our amazing, strong, crazy smart, loving, sweet, funny, reliable, hardworking brother Jeff” (pictured far left).  Jeff was a son, brother, uncle, friend and relative to many, scientist, guitarist, and talented dancer. He was a gentle soul who wished no one any harm and always aimed for peace in others.


 “It is the strength of our family presence, divine intervention, and the power and support of your prayers that helped guide us to finding Jeff and will continue to help guide us as we navigate these painful times.”       


In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to be made to help cover the amounting costs for travel expenses from Wisconsin to California, funeral costs, and memorial services.   Thank you in advance for however much you choose to give.
