Help Sascha be able to have a baby
Donation protected
Hi my name is Sascha, I’m 23, chronically ill, medically infertile, have Rheumatoid Arthritis, MCAS, POTS, Stage IV Endometriosis, PCOS, a Subseptate uterus (which has been recently fixed via surgery) and trying to have a baby which is only possible through IVF due to my health issues.
Having a baby has been my dream since I was just a little girl, just like most little girls.. However my dream of having a baby feels like it’s just being ripped away from me.
I never wanted to ask for money or help but this is becoming extremely financially stressful on myself, my family and I honestly have no idea what to do anymore.
Unfortunately time is not on my side, I was warned at 15 years old how hard it would be to have children but I didn’t think anything of it back then and neither did my family due to me being so little and thinking that by the time I was ready to have a baby they would have figured something out, also given my medical conditions the longer it takes for me to be able to get pregnant my medical conditions will deteriorate and my body won’t be stable enough to be able to carry a baby.
I’ve been trying to have a baby after having my first miscarriage in 2021 which was extremely traumatic. Since losing Souline I had 12 more miscarriages and I haven’t been able to fall pregnant for more than 12 months now.
In 2023 I ended up having an emergency surgery thinking I had appendicitis turns out my Endometriosis was inside my appendix and pulling on it, my Endometrisosis was extremely bad, I had a cyst rupture, extensive scarring throughout my pelvis and a few other issues.
I then had a private surgery that my family and I paid $10,000 for this to help with my endometriosis pain and fertility, this however obviously hasn’t worked.
I had to move onto IVF, I had 7 embryos frozen and I’ve had 5 frozen embryo transfers that have all failed.
The IVF so far has cost my family and I over 20k I’m now facing 5 failed transfer and being told that my case is now too complicated and complex for the bulk billing IVF program which means I’m going to have to go over to private which costs a lot more money. To access the medication I need it’s also a lot of money.
I found out in April that I was born with a uterine abnormality birth defect (a subseptate uterus) and this can cause issues with fertility, I had this issue fixed back in January which was 5k.
We’ve tried the basic immune protocol each round, prolutex injections, Clexane injections, prednisone, tried adjusting medications as much as we can but you are only allowed to do so much within the bulkbill IVF program but nothing has been working so far.
The only thing we can do now is IVF through the private program as the bulk billing program can’t handle my complex case, this way they will be able to tailor a better protocol plan for me and access to the medication I need as we believe it’s my immune system attacking my uterus.
Every donation big or small brings me one step closer to becoming a mother. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my story would mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your kindness and support gives me hope.
