Sanitation to save lives in South Sudan

Tax deductible
We are the Charlotte International Rotary Club. We are raising money to implement a state-of-the-art sanitation system supporting the new TB facility recently opened in the village of Old Fangak, South Sudan. South Sudan is the youngest and poorest country in the world. Old Fangak, a struggling village of 5,000, now has swollen to over 50,000 upon the arrival of refugees from the war in nearby Sudan. Its new TB facility - and the Village in general - lacks adequate sanitation leading to additional sickness and death. With just $35,000, we can implement a Bio-Digester system that will provide accessible and dignified sanitation facilities for the 200+ patients, medical providers and staff of the TB facility.

With our partners, we recently completed an upgrade to the eye clinic infrastructure and added a modern microscope to perform much needed cataract surgeries in the Village. With your help, we can do more. Any donation will make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the Village and us.
