Sania Cay Swimstar make it to NCSA Conference

Hi my name is Ophelia Hill, I'm the mother of this beautiful soul Sania Cay. Sania has been swimming since she was 9 years old. She learned how to swim at the Boys and Girls Club. Sania was very shy and kept to herself most of the time. Ms.Kimmer, her coach asked Sania would she be interested in learning how to swim? Sania said yes and learned how to swim within a matter of weeks. She loved going to practice and learning the sport. Sania joined the Boys and Girls Club swim team and swam with them for two years before she moved on to Club North Swimming organization. She started swimming with them when she was 11 years old. Club North took her swimming to the next level. She now has been with them 10 years and has learned a lot and continue to learn about swimming. Sania also swim for her high school  Winnetonka. She's been on the team for 3 years. She has broke her on record at state. She is currently swimming a 50 free in 24.03 seconds and 100 free in 54:12 seconds. Sania's goals are to make it to the National College Scouting Association Conference to be on the radar of Division 1 colleges or universities swim team. Sania is looking forward to continuing working hard at her gift to obtain scholarships to help assist her in this journey. That is what she does, now let me share with you who Sania Amauri Cay is as a young lady. She's kind, humble and love God. She shares her story with others how she has made it through adversity and kept her faith that God will see her through. She prayes for her family, friends and church family. She knows and understands that God is using her to be a light for others. She loves encouraging others and speaks up for her friends if she feels like someone has hurt them. Sania has a love for all animals especially her dogs Cash & Ta'Challa. She hates to see any animal in distress and does whatever she can to help them. Sania is very helpful around the home. I only have to ask her once to do something, most of the time she takes the initiative and get things done.
