Sandra Fighting Cancer

For the ones that know and the ones that don’t, my mother Sandra, a mother of three, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Godmother, Coworker, and a friend to many. Has been diagnosed with the stupid “C” word. It is ugly, it is mean, it is cruel, it is unforgiving and plainly straight up unfair. My mother is strong, she is giving, she is caring, she is passionate, she is always doing for others, never asking for anything in return. She Keeps on trying and going, when others have given up. She is also a wonderful example of “With God All Things Are Possible!” As a single mother of three it has not always been easy, she takes pride in raising us all on her own. She has always provided everything that we needed to strive in life and even when she felt defeated, she kept her head held up high with a smile and continued forward. My mother has been dealt an ugly hand, that most of us at some time or another have dealt with ourselves directly or through someone we know and love. My mother has never been one to ever ask for handouts and for this reason I am seeking help for her from all that LOVE her, know her and of those that don’t. Out of all our love for her through various degrees of connections. She will need help in many ways than one, even if someone can’t give financially any other form of help is welcomed.

Sandra had a mammogram on October 2019, and it was normal. A couple months went by and she still didn’t feel right. She went in for another mamo and ultrasound in January 7th, 2020 and had a biopsy done the same day. The next day she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma on the right breast, HER2 Type 3 (most aggressive), Stage 2A. She started chemo on January the 28th and her treatment will be prolonged until August of 2021. In which her treatments will also include a bilateral mastectomy. The funds that you are willing to donate will be going towards medical deductibles ($6,000), Copays for medicine and doctor appointments, house payment and bills. My mom is now on disability and as you know in California it wont cover much.
