¡Hola!

Soy Abigail Badilla de la O y me encuentro viviendo una situación sumamente angustiante, tengo a mi hermana gemela en una condición de salud crítica, internada en el hospital Calderon Guardia, donde ingresó hace aproximadamente un mes y desde entonces he visto como su salud se deteriora cada día que pasa.

Mi hermana gemela fue diagnosticada con una enfermedad rara llamada Porfiria aguada intermitente.

Necesita con extrema urgencia, cuatro dosis de un medicamento llamado Hemina Humana, el valor de dicho medicamento y los tratamientos incluidos es demasiado elevado, para un total de $50.000 dólares.

Este presupuesto deja a mi hermana Raquel sin la posibilidad de acceder al tratamiento, ya que mi familia y yo no contamos con los medios económicos para poder solventar este monto de dinero tan elevado.

Por eso nos hemos unido en la causa de recaudación de fondos a favor de mi hermana Raquel Badilla de la O, para poder preservar su valiosa vida.

Raquel y yo fuimos concebidas juntas, compartimos al mismo tiempo el vientre de nuestra hermosa madre y desde entonces hemos disfrutado todas las etapas de nuestras vidas en compañía la una de la otra, donde hemos conocido el amor verdadero.

Extraño a mi hermana, mi alma gemela y tengo un profundo deseo de seguir compartiendo nuestra vida unidas.

Crecimos visitando los ríos, playas y montañas de nuestra amada Costa Rica, rodeadas de naturaleza y animales.

Tengo un profundo deseo de que se me conceda la oportunidad de poder seguir explorando junto a mi otra mitad nuestro hermoso paraíso tropical y vivir muchísimas aventuras y experiencias que nos quedan por recorrer.

Amo inmensamente a mi hermana y deseo expresarles todas mis emociones y sentimientos, con el fin de poder cumplir mi sueño, conseguir este medicamento, que ella sea sana y podamos seguir disfrutando junto a ellas y mis demás familiares el hermoso regalo de la vida.

Hello!

I am Abigail Badilla de la O, and I find myself living in an extremely distressing situation. I have my twin sister in critical condition, admitted to the Calderon Guardia hospital in Costa Rica, where she was admitted approximately a month ago. Since then, I have seen her health deteriorate every day that passes.

My twin sister was diagnosed with a rare disease called Acute Intermittent Porphyria.

To save her life, she urgently needs four doses of a medication called hemin (Panhematin in the United States and Normosang in Costa Rica). The value of said medication is $ 12,500 US dollars per dose out of pocket because it is not approved under our social security system in our country. $50,000 total for the four treatments is too high for our family to afford.

This budget leaves my sister Raquel without the possibility of accessing treatment since my family and I do not have the financial means to be able to afford this high amount of money.

That is why we have joined together in the cause of fundraising in favor of my sister Raquel Badilla de la O, to be able to preserve her valuable life.

Raquel and I were conceived together, we shared the womb of our beautiful mother at the same time and since then we have enjoyed all the stages of our lives in each other's company, where we have known true love.

I miss my sister, my soulmate, and I have a deep desire to continue sharing our life together.

We grew up visiting the rivers, beaches and mountains of our beloved Costa Rica, surrounded by nature and animals.

I have a deep desire to be granted the opportunity to continue exploring our beautiful tropical paradise with my other half and live many adventures and experiences that we still have to explore.

I love my sister immensely, and I want to express all my emotions and feelings to her and everyone reading this. In order to be able to fulfill my dream, which is to get this medicine for her to be healthy and for us to continue enjoying the beautiful gift of life together and my other family members.
