S.A.I.N.T. Rescue and Adoption - Kitten campaign

S.A.I.N.T. Rescue and Adoption led by Jenny Bodnar rescued five little kittens from a barn outside of the city, and we need your help.  There are two girls and three boys.  All five kittens have conjunctivitis.  Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the conjunctiva, which is the inside of the eyelids and the whites of the eye.  A cat with conjunctivitis will often appear to have a red, swollen and partially or entirely closed eye.  The condition is very uncomfortable for the cat, and it can progress to problems associated with self-trama to the area as well as inflammation inside the eye that is more painful and difficult to treat.  

In untreated cases of conjunctivitis, the eye will sometimes rupture, which has happened to 3 of the kittens.  These kittens will require surgery for removal of the ruptured eye.  All kittens will require ongoing medical treatment.  

Jenny Bodnar and her team of volunteers at S.A.I.N.T. Rescue and Adoption need your help.  The cost of eye surgery ranges around $3000.00 per kitten.  There are more kittens at this barn exhibiting the same issues with their eyes and in poor health.  We want to rescue them as well.  

S.A.I.N.T. Rescue and Adoption was founded by Jenny and a group of caring individuals, who among them have years & years of experience, rescuing abandoned animals. We are located in Durham Region. We are a small group and don't have a shelter, so all our rescued cats are fostered in our volunteers' homes.
