Saint Nectarios Greek School Smart Boards Fund!

Saint Nectarios Greek School is located in Roslindale, ma and has been open since 1974.

It consists of 60 students ( Kindergarten - 6 Grade) and 7 classrooms.

Greek School is not only about developing writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills, but also a process that brings learners closer to Greek history, culture, customs and religion.

Please help us improve our Greek School learning experience!

Our Greek School is in need of a technological boost!

We are raising $40,000 to install Smart-boards in each classroom of our school!

Due to Covid-19 we were obligated to transition to on-line learning. This brought us to the realization that online learning was extremely effective for our students. Their ability to learn and interact using technology as a tool created more interest and motivation among students.

Some of the main benefits of using Smart-boards in the classroom are as follows:

1. It encourages student engagement through interactive features,

2. Teachers can use online educational games, group problem solving and learning exercises to make the lessons more enjoyable,

3. It can accommodate a variety of learning styles. Students can learn in each way that best fits them.

We would like to clarify that the proceeds from the donations are intended for both the installation and future requirements of the equipment such as service and insurance.

Also some amount can be allocated for the renovation of the classrooms that is deemed necessary before the installation of the product begins.
