Safe Enclosure for Gia's Kitties

Two weeks ago a neighborhood dog broke through his storm door, came from across the street and then over two houses to my friend Gia's back yard where she was transplanting hostas. Her cat was laying next to her, enjoying some sunshine in her own back yard. Within seconds the dog had her in his mouth and, in just a few more seconds, she was dead.

Gia went immediately to console the dog owner fearing she'd be very upset and might be angry at the dog's instinctive behavior.  The neighbor did not seem to care and was not apologetic.  
Other neighbors have continued to harass and threaten Gia about the colony cats she cares for on her property,  who were most likely abandoned by neighbors who moved.  These cats stay in their yard and sleep in the well-appointed garage each night. Gia fears for their safety.

As many people know, Gia has been caring for cats and other animals for many years and has helped those needing medical care, socializing, as well as finding loving homes for so many including those in situations of abuse and neglect. 
Now it is Gia who could use the help of others.

Please consider donating whatever amount you can, so Gia can have the necessary funds to have a safe, secure enclosure built for her cat companions so they can live safely at their own home. 
Nobody should need to worry about the well-being of their animal friends and fear for their safety.
