As salaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh,

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Surely, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.

The UMBC Muslim Student Association is heartbroken to share that Nadir Siddiqui, a cherished member of our community, has returned to Allah SWT after a tragic car accident. In this difficult time, inshaAllah we will now come together to give sadaqah on his behalf.

We are raising funds on their behalf to support ICNA Relief, whose work provides food, shelter, and assistance to those in need across our communities. A portion of the funds will also go toward the construction of masaajid (mosques) around the world, ensuring that every prayer and act of worship performed there will serve as continuous rewards for Nadir. In addition to this, a portion of the funds raised will be used to help our Palestinian brothers and sisters who are in dire need of aid.

No amount is too small. Every well-intentioned contribution to this campaign will, inshaAllah, be rewarded in kind.

May Allah SWT forgive Nadir, grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, and reward all who contribute to this effort with immense barakah.
