Fred is a loving husband, father, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend, co worker, neighbor, and Christian. He has touched many hearts with his infectious laugh, and his willingness to help others. Be it with his medical skills in EMS serving many communities  or as a neighbor and friend who is always there if you ask for his help! Unforturtunately, Fred and Karen do not have health insurance or paid leave to help defray their expenses.
Now it's our turn to help Fred. On August 31rst Fred had open heart surgery to replace a valve. He has come through the surgery fairly well with a few set backs. His lungs collapsed twice and he has very low Iron. As of today, Labor day all of his chest tubes have been removed and he is slowly getting on the road to going home.
Fred will be out of work for at least 12 weeks and his wife Karen has had to take 3 weeks off to help with his care once he gets home.
This will be a great financial burden for Fred and Karen. Asking for help is very difficult for most, and especially for Fred and Karen. That is why I started this page in hopes that we can all come together and help out a man who is always there to offer his help to others.
