Running in memory of Nerys and John Jackson

As many of you aware, a former colleague of Ysgol Bro Alun, Nerys Jackson, and her husband, John, sadly lost their lives on the 9th of December 2023. Their son and daughter, Sam and Ffion, have kindly agreed for myself to gather donations towards the charities which have supported them; Air Ambulance (Midlands), BRAKE and Fisher House Foundation Birmingham.

This year, I plan on running the Chester 10k (10.03.2024) half marathon (19.05.2024) and full marathon (06.10.2024) in memory of both Nerys and John therefore any donations, no matter how big or small would be very much appreciated. All donations will be shared equally between the above charities.

Nerys was a kind and dedicated teacher, the children always come first as she was determined to make a difference towards their future. I’m sure everyone who had the privilege of working alongside Nerys are all thinking of Sam, Ffion and the rest of the family during this very difficult time.
