Running for the American Transplant Foundation

Hi friends!! 

This October I will be running the Mystery Mountain Marathon (aka my first trail marathon with 5000+ ft. elevation gain and I’m terrified lol) I wanted to put a purpose behind running this race that could have an impact on others and also push and inspire me when things get tough during the run. The American Transplant Foundation has directly impacted my family as I’ve seen the miracle of organ transplants in those I love dearly. Every single day people lose their lives while waiting for an organ from a live donor. Organ donations save lives, and give friends and families more time with loved ones they would have otherwise lost. The American Transplant Foundation works to enable living donation and transplantation, and strives to save lives by reducing the growing list of people waiting for transplants.
