We, the Sanchez family, have created this GoFundMe page on behalf of Rosalinda Sanchez after the tragic and sudden loss of her fiancé, Ruben. We appreciate taking the time to read our story and help Rosie in her time of need.

Rosalinda and her children’s lives were forever changed on the night of Friday, March 17th, 2023, when the life of her fiancé, Ruben Nicolas Nepomuceno, was taken. A driver of a tractor-trailer, who was driving under the influence, performed an illegal u-turn, causing Ruben to collide with the truck and become trapped underneath. The driver of the tractor-trailer survived the collision and the fire caused by the accident, but unfortunately, Ruben could not be rescued. The driver of the tractor-trailer is currently in custody awaiting trial. The company that he represented has agreed to cooperate in legal proceedings. However, no amount of justice or litigation will ever fill the void left behind by the loss of Ruben in Rosie's and her kids’ lives.

Ruben’s death came at a tremendous financial loss to Rosie and her children. He was a necessary source of income for her family: ensuring that bills can be paid and that there was food on the table. Ruben was a true father figure for her kids, raising and looking after them as if they were his own. He was present when he was needed and he always made sure that Rosie and her children knew that they were loved.

While Rosie’s attorneys are covering the expenses of litigation, funeral services, legal paperwork and traveling, she is still struggling to have the funds for everyday living. She has had to take time off work to attend to his death, which is further affecting her ability to keep up with her monthly bills and put food on the table. The money you donate will help Rosie make sure she can still afford to take care of her family while she navigates through the grieving process of the loss of her partner and fulfilling her duties in the litigation process.
