Help Roxy & Brayden Find Each Other

Roxy and Brayden have never met, but they need each other.   

Roxy is a 10-month-old Labrador that has been trained to provide support as an autism assistance dog. Unfortunately Roxy failed her last exam, so is unable to be officially placed in a family as a qualified autism assistance dog... however she will be extremely useful as an in-home therapy dog for the right child.

Brayden is a sweet, cheerful boy who is much loved by everyone who knows him. As a 2-year-old child Brayden was diagnosed with autism, which to this day prevents him from completing daily tasks or communicating with loved ones, simple things that the rest of us may take for granted.

The type of autism that Brayden has, and the level of training that Roxy has, actually make them a perfect match for each other.

Roxy would provide support to Brayden in situations that may otherwise overwhelm him, as she has the unique ability to calm him when he is on the brink of a melt-down.  Using her amazing sense of smell, she will also be able to track Brayden if he gets lost in a crowd. And Brayden will repay the favour by providing Roxy with all the love and care that she deserves in return.

Although raising a child with autism is extremely rewarding, it is also financially draining. Because of this we need your help to secure Roxy for Brayden, by raising the $7000 required to cover her training and vet bills. Unfortunately we have a 2 week timeframe to raise this money.

We hope you will be able to help us, as we can’t bear the idea of these two missing out when they are so perfectly paired.
